Tax Simplicity

Philosophy: We believe that tax preparation is very important and deserves professional individualized attention. We believe that too many firms charge more for this work than should be charged, and that firms charging less may not always provide the highest quality service. We believe that too many people doing their own returns may be missing deductions and credits that could make a meaningful difference to their bank account. We believe that many people do not put a true value on their time and spend 20 or 30 or more hours, investing hundreds of dollars worth of their time, only to end up never really sure that they are getting the optimal answer. We believe there is a better way.

Approach: We will match each client up with a specific preparer with the experience needed by their situation. The preparer will in almost all cases work with you virtually through telephone or video calls, based on your preference. You can provide documents electronically, by fax or by mail (although in the latter case we strongly advise you to send us copies and not the originals). Communication with your preparer during the process will be as needed. Prior to filing your returns your preparer will provide you with a summary of your returns, review them with you in detail, and make any needed corrections. We will also ask for a copy of your most recent return so we may do a comparison for completeness and to see if there may be any opportunities to improve your prior results.
